BEN GALLAHER STRIKES NOSTALGIC CHORD WITH UPBEAT ROCKER “COUNTRY IN THE HOUSE,” LOVE STRUCK ANTHEM “ANYTHING BUT YOU” – BOTH OUT NOW

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 22, 2022) – Stone Country Records recording artist Ben Gallaher strikes a nostalgic chord with his latest pair of releases – upbeat rocker “Country in the House” and b-side “all or nothing” anthem “Anything But You” are out now and available on all digital platforms. Co-written by Gallaher with Tony Martin and Neil Thrasher, “Country in the House” paints a sonic picture of the artists that inspired the up-and-comers sound with “Country in the House.” “Anything But You,” co-written by Gallaher with Tim James and Anthony Smith sees his trademark gravel vocals soften as he counts everything he could live without, as long as his true love remains intact. Both songs were produced by Mickey Jack Cones and Derek George.

“I wrote ‘Country in the House’ with Neil Thrasher and Tony Martin. It was the first time I wrote with them. Neil said “Man, what did you grow up listening to?” And I said, “Growing up, it was just country in the house. That’s all I listened to.” And he stopped me right there and said “that’s what we’re writing today.” It’s a rocker,” says Gallaher.
“I wrote ‘Anything But You’ with Anthony Smith and Tim James over zoom during the covid lockdowns,” continues Gallaher. “My favorite line in that song is ‘Let the world go crazy, cause baby I could stand to lose, anything, anything but you,’ because it was especially true at that moment when the world was in fact crazy. I wrote this song about my wife and overall, it’s a love song that says I could lose it all but as long as I have her, I’m good.”
Last month, Gallaher dropped current radio single – mid-tempo, rocking guitar-scorcher “Country, Boy” – which he co-wrote with Carlton Anderson and Jacob Powell. On impact, the tune saw double-digit station support, earning Gallaher his highest debut to-date, becoming a Top 3 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio. Early station supporters include WMIL (Milwaukee), WQYK (Tampa), KNUC (Seattle), WRBT (Harrisburg), KBEQ (Kansas City), KSOP (Salt Lake City), KCYE (Las Vegas), WWGR (Ft. Myers), WOGI (Pittsburgh), WKMK (Monmouth), WJVC (Nassau), WWQM (Madison), KRTY (San Jose), and more.
In 2021, Gallaher delivered his debut EP Every Small Town, which was praised by press and fans alike. Sounds Like Nashville praised the project as containing “highly relatable stories and themes” calling Gallaher “a promising star in the format” while American Songwriter has declared Gallaher as an artist possessing “an authenticity that shines through.”
About Ben Gallaher:
A self-taught musician with a strong reverence for guitar masters, Ben Gallaher’s songs are autobiographical anthems of growing up in small town Pennsylvania that radiate a passion for the lyric-driven country music that influenced him. The burgeoning star’s vocals exude a smoky texture reflective of the backwoods bars in which the young artist honed his unbridled stage craft, driving to the Eastern corridor to perform each weekend while pursuing a degree in Entertainment Industry Studies at Nashville’s Belmont University. Gallaher has earned a fast-growing fanbase due to his commanding guitar prowess and energetic live shows while opening for the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Blake Shelton, 3 Doors Down, Lee Brice, and has toured the Pennsylvania State Prisons for over ten years on his annual, headlining “Prison Tour.”
Gallaher released his debut label EP Every Small Town in Summer 2021. Sounds Like Nashville praised the project as containing “highly relatable stories and themes” calling Gallaher “a promising star in the format” while American Songwriter has declared Gallaher as an artist possessing “an authenticity that shines through.”
Gallaher’s new single, “Country, Boy,” co-written by Gallaher alongside Carlton Anderson and Jacob Powell, recently debuted as the Top 3 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio. The rocking guitar-scorcher, celebrates handshake deals and the do-right mindset that is the core of the country lifestyle – something Gallaher serves from experience, given his middle-of-nowhere Pennsylvania upbringing.
He is currently in the studio recording his debut Stone Country Records album with acclaimed music producers Mickey Jack Cones (Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett) and Derek George (Randy Houser).
